Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is submitted to the third-party provider that supplies search results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Visit Data
Our host may create routine server logs, including an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate for maintenance and to understand which resources readers use. Cookies or similar tools can support basic analytics and, when present, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the service, resolve technical problems, measure traffic, and improve the reference material. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services
Links may lead to Acton, Middlesex, Massachusetts, library, archive, or third-party search services. A destination’s own privacy terms control information submitted there, including information entered through sponsored results supplied by another company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process the ordinary logs needed to operate the service. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information only when required by valid legal process or as otherwise required by law.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and routine logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. Because there are no user accounts, the service does not maintain a visitor password or profile that could be exposed.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor supplied information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal information a service keeps. Because we maintain very little, we can check the contact mailbox and available server logs when you use the Contact page. The research for this site did not verify a separate Massachusetts comprehensive consumer-privacy or universal opt-out statute. Government records held by Acton, Middlesex custodians, or Massachusetts agencies are outside our control; M.G.L. c.66 §10 provides the Massachusetts public-records framework, and record corrections belong with the relevant custodian.
